I gave up (also wanted the ones with more offset) and bought 140mm ones and then had Loco Tuning replace the air spring with an 120mm one.

Try asking TFTUNED - they should sort you out some!

The pike does not come in 120mm travel as a 29er fork, unless you buy the dual position air 150mm which can be lowered to 120mm. The shortest the solo air come in is 140mm. I would suggest a revelation instead!

The pike does come in a 120mm 29er version, it's only an OEM part though, your only options would by a regular fork and get ft tuned to change it for you ( I'd get a second hand unit as it would be cheaper and it'll get a complete overhaul) or wait to see if chainreactioncycles.com or similar gets some in, they sell a lot of OEM parts

Rock Shox offers a replacement air shaft to bring the travel down to 120mm on a 29er Pike with Solo Air. Most bike shops out there should be able to order the part for you. Part number 11.4018.026.003

Haha you I looked itnto it and you can order a 120mm SA piston, but you cant order a 130 though, kinda weird.

I'm pretty sure you can do a 130 too for the 29 as it is like a 150 or 160 option for the 650b fork. I have the 120 rod in route to my lbs for my banshee phantom

This is true, the one you want does 130mm on 29ers, 150mm on 650b, and 160mm on 26 inch forks.

I have just ridden my new whyte t129 scr works for the first time today. Can't help but feel it would benefit from a 130 Pike fork instead of the 120 pike it comes with. Is there any way I can actually increase mine from the 120 to 130? Could it be a spacer in the fork that needs to be removed or does it not work like that anymore? Sorry to hijack the thread btw

No, it doesn't work like that anymore, you have to replace the air shaft with the one I described in my last post. It's fairly inexpensive though, probably about $40
