Greetings Have YT tues frame with Marzocchi moto r2c, 267x89mm on it, planing to change it to Rock shox vivid , but not sure about configurations , witch one will fit in to my frame? 289x67?
267 is the eye to eye length of the shock, 89 is the shocks stroke length. You would need to buy a shock with the same eye to eye length (267) or you will start to change the bikes geo.. That's if a bigger shock would fit. You can in some cases fit a 267 shock with a different stroke length without affecting much

What compression pretune (soft/med/hard) did you go for on the vivid for this frame? I'm looking at putting 2014 vivid r2c on my 2014 YT Tues and was hoping you could save me some homework ??

I would be careful with the stroke lenth personally. Although what you say is very true, bike geometry is designed in conjuncion with the suspension. If you put a shock in that has a different stroke you may run the risk of either bottoming out or not having full range of movement. It all depends on the shock/lever angles and chainstay angle/length. Best to stick with what you have or you risk wasting your money.
