Switch brake line attachment to caliper?

Hi guys, I just bought a new Kona Process and had some new XT brakes sitting here and was going to put those on instead of leaving the stock Deore brakes on. When I went to put the rear XT caliper on it turns out that the hose attaches to the caliper on the opposite side compared to the stock Deore. Because of this the brake line does not clear the seat tube linkage.

Is it possible to swap the brake line connection to the caliper with the bleed valve so that they switch sides and the hose runs on the inside closer to the wheel and the bleed valve to the outside?

Pics: XT with hose connection to the outside vs stock Deore with line running on the inside.

Is it really a problem having the brake hose attaching to the caliper on the outside?

There is Process models that come with XT & SLX brakes.

It might be a problem with excessive rub of the housing on the seat linkage. It's a hard angle to get the housing of the XT to reach to the inside, it's going to rub fairly hard. On my old rig a little bit of front brake housing rub put a small notch on the fork crown. But maybe not though, in looking at those pics of the rear XT caliper on the Process DL it looks as though it's the same caliper with same housing route. Hmmm...

How's the hose interfere the seat tube??
can it be due to shorter length hose??

To answer your question, you can't swap it.
but you can varying the angle of the hose in the xt caliper. Sometimes it might help.
just loosen the allen bolt in the caliper hose until it cam be rotated. Loose it with feeling, stop when you can rotate the hose. Be careful if you loosen the bolt too much, the oil will leak.
