Fox float 32 fitting issues with halo hub

Hi all
I've just purchased new float 32 forks for my identiti aka build but when I come to put the wheel back on I realised that the hub was suited for a 5mm quick release skewer with the converters in place.
Problem is when I pull the ends off it reveals a tube inside the bearings which Is the same size as the 15 mm ...
Can the tube be taken out and slightly smaller bearings fitted for a snug fit of the new 15mm qr?
Or does this mean new hubs are needed?
