Hello everybody....

Im after a bit of advise really. Im new to the biking scene and after a bike that can go comfortably off-road but isnt to demanding on tarmac.

As i am new i no you pay for what you get, but im just wondering what the best option would be for around the £400-£600 mark. This is only to get my foot in the door any try it out see how i get on.

Im 6ft 4 so need an extra large frame and would like 29inch wheels.

Looked at Pinnacle Ramin 1 and 2. Also looked at Carrera Krakin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i no im coming in at a low bench mark.

Thank you.

The Voodoo Bizango is at the top end of your budget but gets very good reviews and won the mbr hardtail of the year for sub £600 category so definitely worth a look!

Voodoo Bizango.. You wont get anything much better for that kind of money. Just read any review on it.

I have the large 20" frame Bizango. Dont let the sizing fool you. It says large but its more like an XL. Being a 29er its a physically big bike. Its a perfect fit and im also 6' 4"

I have a Scott bike it was a little over $600 but I love it. I am 6'5 so I needed a XL bike and it works great on and off of asphalt.
