Hi name is Ken, Jus joined pinkbike,
so a buddy coaxed me into hitting a few trails with him and I'm hooked...again....
It's been some time since i've been on a mtb or bmx and I noticed all this new gadgets n gizmos ppl are talking about.
I jus purchased a spec rockhopper and before i do any type of upgrades gunna feel the bike out and try to learn the trails, its been over 10 yrs since i was hitting trails an wanted a lil input on things to look for when it is time to upgrade i.e. gearing, forks rims n tires so on,

Contact points, brakes, tyres and suspension will give you the most change in performance and feel.
