Hey I got a yeti asr5 which originally had 140mm of front travel but I threw a fox 160mm travel but the rear is still the stock foxrp23 127 mm of travel which I wanna upgrade.. My question is is there a certain travel size I have to stay under? Im looking to get some more travel for the downhill rides. Please let me know im not to smart on bikes lol

Yes going from 140mm to 160mm on the front only is a good decision for more dh performance. The rear travel cannot be increased, you will need a shock that is the correct size, a quick Google search will find you that. To increase the dh abilities look into offset shock bushings, they slacken the bike and lower the bike.

Like he said, there is no way to increase the rear travel.

You could alter the frame...

Or he could take a saw and cut it in two pieces. Would allow for even more "travel"...

The other option is wedging a rock inbetten linkage so it can't move. Very effective propedal.
