Lots of reports of Ticks being found on riders coming out of Kal park. I know someone who got a bite from riding in Falkland. I know 3 riders that have found ticks this week alone.

I always do that, it's part of my cycling routine. two or three hours later, maybe I'll put some clothes back on. just the underwear maybe. or just socks and a vest.....
19th MAY: BIG RIDE IN PENTICTON
following the success of the Big Ed Enduro, thanks to B-Rad, bring on the Arawana trails, above Naramata. lots to choose from, see the extensive and impressive trailmap here. DH, AM, OM, FR or XC bike compatible. all welcome.....maybe finish with beers on the beach.

Pretty powerful video, really glad we live and ride in Canada... US Government officials seem like douche bags. I have to admit though that the chainsaw action to "Mega Death" in the video was pretty sick! A bit long but worth a watch... poached from the main news page of course.
New "Gingerly" trail is absolutely awesome... makes the ride into and out of Kal Park much more enjoyable
Anyone looking for a shuttle buddy? Going to finally get on the dh.. hopefully tomorrow.... I have a truck with extended cab. will fit 5 in the cab (tightly) and maybe a few in the back.
I am avaliable for shuttles as well. I can take 3 comfortably, 4 is a little tight. I am thinking about riding Salmon Arm Rubberhead trails tomorrow if anyone is interested.
Sorry Gnar and Shred, Penticton seems like a long drive so I am going to bail and go to Salmon Arm. We need to hook up again for a ride though, I had alot of fun hanging with you guys.

I used to live in a city where I would drive 1 hour to work and back everyday 5 days a week. A couple hours rolling through the beautiful Okanagan for some shred variety is nothing. We'll get her done. Catch up with you another day.
I am going to ride Kal Park tomorrow morning / early afternoon if anyone wants to join. I have to be at work by 5 in Vernon. I have a truck so can pick up if necessary. I'd enjoy some company. Cheers.
