well the s/c is out for a few days. turns out i can fly but its the landing is another story. that sender on gnar was a killer today. wet on the corner and couldnt get enough speed into. was hoping for the best but instead blew out the rear shock and at least a couple of spokes. landed it like a boss though and avoided the stump. So i guess i have that going for me.

Just found the most important resource online for all your ride stoke needs. Watch a few of these beauties before you pedal and you'll be sure to hammer out some enduro like Cedric Gracia!

http://enduromtb.tv/en/

You can thank me with beer later for sharing such a solid collection of enduro. I"m now going to be lost for days with drool dripping down my cheeks at the brightly colours enduro rigs and fanny packs. See you in a few weeks when I come out of my enduro coma.

there's not many bikes I'd ride but a DHR is one of them. a proper DH rig, made for the gnar trails with arguably one of the best suspension designs out there

Blatant violation.

Enduro would get more respect from me if:

it consisted of hundreds of MTB' ers who gathered at the foot of a mountain, before drinking several shots of liquor then freestyle rampaging all over a trail network, dressed at forest creatures carrying backpacks of chilled beer, who rode til they were exhausted before ending the event at the parking lot to drink more beer and eat poutine. voluntary donations wold be made and the pot of cash split equally between the local MTB club, war veterans, homeless shelters and XB's new shed fund

that might have a bit more self respect than the herding of egotistical me-me-me subservient corporate sheep and vast MTB industry marketing scam that enduro is

That bike is junk. 100% un tested flexy garbage FORK. That bike frame has the worst track record ever in mtb for failures. Pure over priced garbage. Throw on some re-branded 3 times over Chineese knock off carbon wheel set waaaay over priced and you have a winner.

Get a job that pays, VJ, ride moar.

I think the fork would perform great.
However I would have reservations about not having local service/parts for it.
It would be like Willie-d's Manatee fork.
No parts at local shops.
Have to send it away for service.
At least that's what he was told.

I like all the "other" options DVO, X-fusion, BOS, etc.
I think they would be great products.
But who wants to be without a ride for weeks if something goes wrong in the middle of the season?
Until they get their goods/parts in local shops I will have to pass and stick with Rockshox, Fox or Marz.

Does anyone on here have something other than the big three for forks?
Maybe you could shed a different light on servicing them.
I'm just speculating.

Did he speak with all 3 shops on the Manipoo thing? Some bike shops in BC suck at certain things, does not mean it cant be done... Take the time seek out the local expert. Never go by what 1 hack tells you.
... Depending on how bad it was mangled, theres even some posters on here that can service those things
