There's usually not much clearance on 26"s, but people still do them. They either manage to do it with the pedals not level, and/or they run short cranks.

I just checked and there's only about 15mm clearance on my Black Market Mob, size Long (22.5"tt), with 180mm cranks and Primo pedals (when I turn the bars around in an x-up).

This is my fork. So it may have more wheel off-set than others--not sure, never really checked into that. (In other words, how much is the wheel axle in front of the fork leg, or directly under it).
