I have around £2000 to spend on a hard tail 29er, does anyone have experience of mount a child seat to a 29er... Looking at the Transition Tram Am...

Main thing is you want to check is that the bracket that comes with your child seat will fit high enough on your seat tube so that the child seat does not sit on your rear tyre.

I have fitted the bracket to a seat tube in the past but it is not ideal.

(bike without crank fitted here but you get the picture)

The design of the Transition frame may hinder the holding bracket, but it is hard to say for sure.

Cheers for the reply. I ended up getting a Scott Scale 940, Hamax Siesta and the small frame bar for it.. and it seems to work well....
