Race face crank removal

Hey pinkbike people. So im trying to remove my 2011 race face respond and evolve cranks off my dh bike and all mt bike. Im having trouble getting them off. I have taken the 8mm bolt out on the drive side. I was told they should just come out with a tap of the mallet but I cant get them to move. Can anyone help me out with some advice. Cheers

You need a crank puller after the bolt is out.

You maybe lost the 10mm caps that go over the bolt.....so you don 't need a crank pulker

Im pretty sure there was no 10mm cap on these cranks. A buddy of mine was telling me to put a dime in there. Not totally sure how that works. Im going to get a crank puller. Thanks for the info guys.

I have a set of race face cranks that are around the same year and I need a crank puller to get them off. But they should come off pretty easy once you've got one.

You'll need a crank puller for a set of Respond from 2011.
