You might not be clamping hard enough. Also, check that your axle isn't sticking out from the drop outs. Mine was and I had to file the axle a small amount.

Should i put in a chain tensioner it also seems that my half link chain is tugging down the wheel or should i change the cap of my QR..

You'd be better switching to bolt thru if you can. If the axle isn't sticking out and you're using enough clamping force then I have no idea.

Get a chain tug, also if that half link is new, or cheap it will keep on stretching.

What do you think guys..i am using a fireeye SS kit.. with the vertical dropout..should i get a chain tensioner?

Generally, with vertical drop outs, you would put a chain tensioner on but yours looks tight enough without it. It helps having a half link chain.

I would also guess you are not tightening the QR enough.

It would not hurt to try adding a chain tensioner. They are all fairly cheap. I like the one made by Surly.

Otherwise, make sure the cap to your QR is threaded as much as it can be without preventing you from clamping the lever all the way down. (Did that make sense?)

it has been a while since i have been using my crankbrothers QR, Maybe the thread on the cap has been stripped off. This is my second frame, Banshee it's my first with vertical dropout, but i don't expirience my rear wheel sliping, haven't really check my QR eversince. let me try surely chain tensioner.

yes it did, Can i remove the end cap of the QR and replace it with a nut?

Now that's a good question. It seems possible and I don't see why not, since that's basically what it is.

To do it the right way, you can get the adapter kit http://spank-ind.com/products/wheel-parts/10x135mm-adapter-for-spoon-spike-rear-hubs
