I'm looking for a short wheelbase 24" frame for dirt. Short chainstays, 70-71 degree headangle with 100mm fork but without the high bb. Preferably something that uses 135mm hub. Does something like this exist and where can I get it in the USA?

maybe Black Market Contraband 24". why do you want to run 100mm fork rather than 80mm?

Contraband is what I've been thinking about buying but I can't find a frame for sale, Black Market is out of stock. Looking at their Lil' Monster 24 but it is $200 more.

Would like to use my current fork, Fox 36 TALAS which won't go below 95mm.

Seems like Black Market is measuring geometry with a 414mm A-C so I'm worried that with my fork it will be nearly as slack as most 26" DJ's and the BB will be high.

My current bike has a 72 head angle and 13" bb with 15.375" chainstays, 22" TT. Would like to keep the steep HA but lower my BB and shorten the chainstays. Maybe a little shorter TT as well. Not sure on that.

Thanks for your help.

I feel your pain. Built my own.

BBs got high on BMX bikes for grinding rails, though some race bikes claim more ground clearance for longer crank arms and spinning through turns. All I ride now is dirt and I have never hit a pedal to the ground on my berms. 11.5" or so BB height. Sorry I can't offer anything else, I searched as well. Mine also has a bit steeper head angle, 72.5 and I built it for a 110 hub.

That looks badass man. My bike right now has a 72 HA and I definitely don't feel like it's too steep, just want something shorter and lower.

STOUT Bikes makes customs.. Matt has done a lot of impressive work. He has done MTB and BMX, including 24"mtbmx.

I know this wallride spot. It's in North Austin. Super fun.

Dang, looks good. The first thing I noticed however was his comment on Ti needing to be back purged. Back purging makes a difference with 4130 as well, granted it's not a killer to not but it is preferable. They do have some killer looking frames. That looks like the best option depending on price.

If you really like your frame just mimic the numbers but lower the BB and your gold.

What about a 2014 or older NS Suburban park. Was designed for 24" but you can stuff 26' in. 21.8tt, 14.7 cs, designed around a 100m fork so you would have a +10mm bb. 69 hta with the 100mm fork. Ive ran an 80mm fork and that felt to low....using a 100mm fork now and its great.

He is looking for a lower BB height though, if he put 26" wheel on a bike designed for 24s he would end up with a higher BB. Also a 69 head angle would be much slacker than his current 72 which he was happy with.

The NS is a pretty sweet bike, don't get me wrong.
