I want to convert my profile elite hub from 3/8 aluminum axle to 14mm cro mo axle. I see a kit is available but can't help wondering if new bearings are required.

I'm sure its the same bearings, i just swapped out a 14mm axle to a 3/8 female in my sons profile mini. i did need to get new hardware for the axle tho. but the bearings are the same. you can also just call up profile and they will kindly answer your question to make 100% sure.
