Definitely used but definitely a nice bike. Not unreasonable.

What do you think need replacement and I got him to 750 good deal?

I'd cut the bars down a bit, but I'm not into the "new" the wider the better thing. Other than that, looks nice, nothing that stands out as needing to be replaced. Top of the line bike.

Offer 650. But it still depends if it has been ridden hard or not.

I can get him lower than 750 but even if it has been riden hard should I buy it

TRANSITION are a respected company. The Trail or Park model has been discontinued, but it is still a good bike.

All the other parts on this bike are respected.

What else can I say? Wink

What bike do you ride right now? How tall are you? What kind of terrain do you want to ride?

Personally, i would not pay more than 500-550 for that specific bike.

Used DJs do not do so hot on the second hand market. IMO, this one is no exception.

Yeah, that's true. I agree, you should probably try to get it down to 550. Not to say it's a bad bike, because it isn't . . . just because that's kind of the going rate.

I can't get him that low so should I get it or not

Not many guys will pay $750 for a used bike. You can let him sit on it.

honestly, i would pass at that price.

for the asking price of 800 bucks that he originally had, you can get yourself a more dialed DJ.

I would actually recommend you build your bike if you have the knowledge. 800 bucks is a pretty good budget for building a custom DJ. If you need help there is always PB!

If you want to build one, check out octane one frames. they will help you stay in your budget. i think chain reaction cycles has the void up for super cheap right now. i absolutely loved my void. Im building up their other DJ frame, the zircus.

You will not build a quality NEW bike with a sus fork for $800.
