Hey Pinkbikers,

I'm looking to buy a BMX for dirt jumping, and I was wondering what makes a bike good for dirt jumping.
What kind of geometry should I be looking for? Are all BMX bikes just good for dirt jumping in general?

I'm currently looking into an Eastern Reaper, a Fiend TY Morrow, and a Blackeye Casbah

Thanks!

Generally bmx bikes sold as dirt jumpers have a head tube angle less than 75 degrees and a little longer chainstay, like 13.75. People use street geometry bikes as well though. I have a Broadcaster I have done dirt jumps (not huge) with and can't say it was that bad. This was after watching a pro (youtube) jumping some huge jumps with one. It was a little spooky for me at first.
