I like that about them too, plus its basically free to drive over and over. Have to admit after getting my electric buggy I drove it exclusively since it was so simple, however for me the extra minute or two to setup the nitro car is negligible.
I agree electrics are simple but nitros are so much funner.

People say pull starts are bitch yet I havent had an issue with my buggy, its a joke how well it starts and runs.

I'm not new to nitro, just had Traxxas so everything g was simple back then.

now its like WTF IS GOING ON.

My Baja starts first or second pull every time. got that carb tuned damn good.

How are those tamiya rally cars? Seems like if you had a scale track you wouldnt be able to pull the person away from it!

I like it. Im used to more off-roady rigs so I feel it doesnt have the offroad capability but it would be awesome on a scale groomed track! Mine only does around 25-30MPH so I feel like it is slow. Needs a better ESC and more motor. The DF03ra doesnt have a slipper from the factory but with the slipper upgrade it should handle brushless well.

After seeing that axial I googled it because it was a real f250 body just to see. They really aren't that expensive (388$ on the site I saw) and look pretty sweet. Plus I can get a ram body same as my truck in real life Big Grin

The F350 lid is a Tamiya part. Its about another $100 to build up that body.

All sorts of crazy awesome bodies have been built from poly styrene. Im looking at doing a Nissan D21 from styrene. Check out rccrawler.com.

The kits can be had for around $250 but you need all the electronics.

Yea. I've got a Chevy Silverado Hardbody. I nicked it off of a Wal-mart RC car. It was originally a Dale Earnhardt truck...but I re did it all.Didn't cost me much. I then put in LED headlights, tail lights and brake lights. Truck has a full interior, and even an action figure inside it as a driver.

So, Gents.

Sold the Baja and Savage,

time for new toys. I'm think a duo of Revo 3.3's one for myself one for whoever I go screw around with. Probably the woman. she'll have a cow when I bring them home thoygh, and I'm gonna love it.

I've got the revo, they are nice trucks. I'd also recommend getting an electric for other people to mess with. Trust me tuning everybody's cars gets old fast and takes time.

+1 on going electric. Especially if your'e with someone else. No fun if you can't get one started.
