I want to create my personal Mc leod. I have never seen it before so I need to know what does a Mc leod weigh? Any tips? Thanks

Any weight will work, it depends on how it will be used and / or personal preference.

Try to make the bottom completely flat like this:

Mine has bolts on the bottom and they get in the way of packing a perfectly smooth surface:

Absolutely!

Definitely post up photos and keep in mind that if you create dozens of them, you can probably sell them all over the world

Great documentation of the process, that is probably the most helpful piece for other people to learn from

Simply brilliant 'Gfromars' ....what are the dimensions on the sheet of metal that you used?

Thanks man I used a sheet of steel 20x20x5cm

It looks like the circle is a little bit off center.
I would recommend centering the circle from flat edge to the start of the teeth, instead of the end of the teeth
It might feel more balanced in your hand that way

The circle is perfectly placed in the center of the rough square. Next time I'll consider your tip
