No.I contacted Giant UK and asked before i was going to buy the 160.but i got the 150 Pikes for 300 quid,it was another 100 for the extra 10mm,not worth it

Did you just buy and build frame?
I think you misunderstood. I mean the fork is 650b. But the wheels still 26. I got the bike as complete and change parts by parts as they fail.

so the 650B wheelset failed? that's unlikely, suppose to be better than 26er wheels.

Obviously he chose a 650B fork in order to be future proof but kept the existing wheels. I was also thinking to replace my stock 170 Domain with a 650B 160 Pike in order to keep the same A2C but I finally ordered a 170 Lyrik instead because I wanted to keep the 170 travel.

It is the Reign SX so it came stock with a 170 fork and it rides great.
