Reign has 6 inch travel and Reign X and SX has 6.7. Of course if you change the rear shock from 200x50 to 200x57 you can have 6.7 also in a Reign.

Thanks, exactly my thoughts. But then again, this supports my question: (how) can it be that a Reign (not X or SX) is fitted with 6.7 instead of 6.0 (i mean not customized but in factory). When i check the specs of my bike on the Giant website it says 6.0 whilst mine has 6.7:

My Maestro link is all black and doesn't have the 6.0 logo on it like the one on the website. Any thoughts on that?

What I only just found out is that the 200x50 rear shock is actually same size as the 200x50 as in eye-eye and the stanchion is same size but the 200-50 doesn't use the full travel and has a spacer or something in it to stop it using the full travel,so this maybe the answer,what size forks does it run

I'm familiair with the sizes of the shocks. Mine was originally fitted with a Fox 32 Talas FIT CTD Factory 120-150mm Travel. I replaced it for a Fox 36 Talas 140-160mm.

Where exactly does it say that your bike has 6.7 inches of travel? I am asking because in your photo I can't see it. Also the Reign X or SX has a different link than yours except for the shock.

Well, me too! Confused

That's the reason why I posted the question..... it is 170. It originally came with the 200x57 shock, the frame sticker mentiones "6.7", etc.

It may have the capacity or that is the max travel the frame will take but it coming with 150 front and rear I would just keep it 150-160 max,I spoke with Giant about upping my Travel and they said 160max and I wouldn't void my warranty,

Color scheme is the same as Reign 0, definitely. Still haven't got any clue so maybe we should conclude that there was indeed a drunk employee working the production line :-)
