Coming from the brewery can be confusing. The easiest way is to park at the parking lot near toll strip then follow the black path. I ride el matador at least once a week and have never had a problem walking or riding up it. Just be carful in the tight corners at the bottom and listen for other riders. Tops pretty open and easy to see people. Lots of people just session the top half.

LETHBRIDGE BIKE COMMUNITY! On Wednesday June 5th LACA (Lethbridge Area Cycle Association) Had it's first reboot meeting. What does that mean?

1. A voice to the city about biking and bike trails in Lethbridge
2. a Face lift for the Bike park
3. Building new legal trails in Lethbridge
4. maintaining old trails to keep them safe
5. working with Headwinds, Bike Bridge, Lethbridge BMX to bring a large scale bike event to this town

We need everyone's support on this. Lethbridge has a large bike community and we all need to get together to make great things happen. Check out bikelethbridge.wordpress.com it has just been built and will have more and more information as it comes available.

If you want to be part of the process find me on facebook and I will add you to the private group. Cody Belter.

Let get Lethbridge going !

Check out Crowsnest Pass. Closer than Fernie and has some great trails too.

Two of my favorite trials there are School of Rock: https://www.pinkbike.com/video/381704/
and Good Riddance: https://www.pinkbike.com/video/383032/

Can Good Riddance be ridden as a shuttle trail? Your POV vid makes me wanna ride it!

Yep, you take the road up to the Frank Slide interpretive center and turn onto the gravel road.

Unreal. The directions on trailforks (i think, may have been a different website) said to ride up the bottom section.

Well that's the way most people go up, it's about a half hour climb. Would probably take 15 minutes to shuttle.

Hello all.

I have the day off on monday in lieu of canada day and i want to go do laps in fernie. My problem is i have no friends and i aint about the life of biking at the park alone. I'm an intermediate rider and willing to push myself. I can save you half the drive. Is anybody planning on going up that day?

Hey guys, just moved to Lethbridge for school.
I would greatly appreciate any insight on trails/jumps/spots to check out.
I only brought down my DH rig, but if there is any good dirt jumps I would get my dj down here!

Go on Facebook and join LACA Lethbridge Area Cycle Association. Or find me Cody Belter. We're going to organize fall rides and we can show you all the trails.

what is going on behind the college? one of the finest pieces of singletrack turned into a 6 foot wide path. That was always a great start to a good ride. WTF.

whatever they (city or college?) are doing, it isn't going to survive the Spring rains. Erosion and coulee slumpage are going to be a major problem. sigh.

Hey guys and gals.
New here and really digging the free ride trail, i think its called el matador? Great trails with tons more potential.

If anyone is looking for a riding buddy send me a message on here. Hate riding alone Rolleyes .
I usually head out every nice evening on the week days and would like to hit up moose mountain a bunch more on the weekends.

Looking forward to meeting some of the local shredders ! Salute

Just seen on ctv news that the cops busted some people with a lot of stolen property and it said high end bikes were retrieved. Maybe if anyone knows of someone who had a bike stolen around here can call the police and see if they may have one that belongs to them!

What's going on Lethbridge? Is the bike scene dead here or what?
New to MTB and loving it. Only have a HT but been riding since last year.
Can't wait for the trails to dry up.
Is there any active bike clubs in Lethbridge?
