Maybe you should just get a nice file and use that. I've file granny tabs in 10 mins before. All about having a nice sharp, high quality file.

What's everyone's preference for fork dropouts, QR or 20mm axle/maxle? Got a free pair of zocchi Dj's recently that have the qr dropouts, was going to chuck them on my budget build til i can afford something a bit nicer and lighter.

That would be sweet cyfa, I'm gonna wait until the 28 1/4 rims come out though, or is it 26 3/8...hell, whatever they tell me is supposed to be perfect.

Are there any pro/ competitive 4x riders who rock flats? Or is it basically compulsory to ride clipped in to be competitive.

I believe Duncan Ferris was on flats when he beat Beaumont at Falmouth the other weekend.

Lopes sometimes rode flats on World Cup...
