What's the widest tire one can run on a Talon? I've currently got 2.1 and they look about max. I just can't find any good looking 2.1 tires for a good price. Could I squeeze a 2.25 in here?

Here is a mediocre picture of clearance when the bike is in its granny gear.

Which model talon do you have? I have a 27.5 1 model and I run a 2.25 on the rear with no issue. Could even squeeze a 2.3 if I wanted to.

It's a 27.5 Talon 4.

Giant says the frames are identical from the 4 to 0 I just dobt see a 2.2 or 2.25 fitting, and I don't want to order a tire that's too big.

What model year is your talon?
I have a 2015 and it came fitted with 2.25" and it would still be able to take wider again.

2.25 is a fairly common size. I doubt Giant would make that bike so you couldn't run 2.25's

I was asking which model you have because they make a 29er talon as well and that could be different. They'll definetly fit.

Old post, I know. I have a 2015 27.5 Talon 2. It came stock with Schwalbe 2.25 tires. I have swapped them out with Maxxis High Roller II 2.3 front/rear. Clearence is not a problem. Could probably run 2.4 as well.
