look at the video link i just posted bud, one page back there is a link to youtube, some guy shows you how to. Their you go i edited it so you can now see it i think, if not this is the link again

yea iv seen that. i didnt go by that video because im presuming the 409 has very different internals compared to the 318 because its air and the 318 is coil

It's all the same, coil just has a spring where the air has various washers.

Anyone that used the internal white preload spacer can tell me how lower did it get? 60mm? Any reason for not using it?

i cut mine to make it 70mm, but if you dont it will be 60

Yeah your's look great and I can live without the extra 10mm, no noises after?

Ya man thanks, if you do not cut it and put in in your fork, it will be very stiff which is good Big Grin There might be some noises at first but thats normal for an argyle, But after 1 or 2 rides it will go away Big Grin

Yup as long as they're the right diameter to fit inside the stantion and the hole in the centre is big enough to fit over the rod.

They come with a 30mm spacer anyway....

just done this to my 302's, taken them down 25mm using old handle bar tube, really easy, great guide, thanks very much.

Just lowered my Argyles earlier today and hardly any oil came out. They are brand new never ridden.
Any advice? How much oil is normal?
