Hello,

We are moving out to Whistler for a year in May.
We want to get our bikes insured whilst we are out there. Can anybody recommend any companies or point us in the right general direction??
Appreciate any help!!

Thanks

Patrick

You need tenant insurance for the place you end up renting. Most basic plans only cover up to $1k per bike, so you have two options: 1) Find a plan that specifically includes higher value bikes or 2) buy specific riders onto the policy for the bikes. #1 is usually cheaper and easier.

TD Meloche Monex is generally regarded as the best option for bikes. Make sure you ask about high value bikes (up to $5k), they have some specific plan that covers it.

When you get home insurance or renters insurance send in an appraisal of your bike and they'll cover it for that amount.
