Is it a 9-10 speed cassette body?
If so just buy a spacer kit and desired cog. Preferably a wide foot cog so as not to cut the freewheel body.

Just buy some pvc pipe from a hardware store (1 1/4" ID) and slice and dice some spacers out of it. I've been using PVC instead of spacers for a while, no problems whatsoever. The cog should be fairly cheap, as 12 and 14 tooth cogs are usually like 10 bucks or less. I usually don't have major issues with cheap cogs damaging freehub bodies, and I've ran simple cogs on every freehub imaginable, both steel and alu.

Make sure you end up with a gear ratio anywhere between 2.1 and 2.25, in the long run this will be good for your knees. Wink

I recommend a 26T chainwheel and a 12T cog.

Nice actually running 12 /25 presently hoping to keep that but having a heck of a time finding a 12 tooth it went with my old wheels may have to try 13 /25

Crupi 12t on eBay all day for 30 bucks and under.
I'm running 12-28 on 26" wheels.

28/13 (56 gear inches) or 30/13 (60 gear inches) would be better. 55 gear inches is the "classic" gear ratio in BMX, for reference point. People go up or down a little depending on the race track.

BMX street, trails, and park riders tend to run closer to the high 50s and low 60s just to have more cranking speed and less "spinny" cranking for fakies. Single speed road bikes are in the high 60s and low 70s.

MTB-DJ is more similar to BMX style gear ratio than it would be to single speed XC MTB gear ratios where people value "climbing."
