LLD short leg, shoe modifications?

Hi all.
I have a short right leg from a leg break about 11 years ago. 17mm short now.
All of my shoes and hikers i wear have an external sole lift built into them as internal does not work nor do heal lifts.
I want to ride clipless but am unsure of modifications to shoes that can or have been made by other people around here?
Hopefully someone with some experience with an lld and there solution to the problem can chime in.

You could check out BikeFit LLC. They make LLD shims for cleats

They also have cleat wedges, in-shoe wedges, and q-factor spacers.
