so i have an urban race coming up and my old 2008 F40 doesnt seem to be performing as well as i hope.. my friend offered to lend me a 180 fox float so im wondering what are the pros and cons of changing to single crown?? take note i wont have the time to change all the cable lenghts to allow more spin on the single crown.. should i swap the forks??

TBH, my fork doesnt have the small bump sensitivity it used to.. so trying to setup both front and rear shox for stairs and drops are getting frustrating.. dont mind some good advice.. thanks..

Current setup
2011 intense m9 fro w CCDB coil
fox 40 RC2

The only problem I could see is that the fork will be more flexible and might not feel good on stairs, but it really depends on the rider.

Switching from a Fox40 you'll be a bit less stiff and your bike will likely end up sitting lower in the front. Test ride it for an hour or so beforehand and you should be fine.
