I'm looking to get into dirt jump mtb as it looks a bit more exciting than your average xc run. Are there any jumps in the Raleigh or Chapel Hill areas?

There are some legit jumps at Crabtree Park but they are only open at certain times. There is also San Lee bike park which is a lot of fun and worth the hour drive. Check out http://www.trianglemtb.com/ in the forum section they have a post for when the jumps at Crabtree are open. There are some other spots as well that are more... secretive, but I'm not posting about them online. Once you get into the scene you can find some of those other spots.
