Clicking sound - Giant Escape M1

Hi all
i have a Giant Escape M1 and started to get clicking (i think on the drive side) when the pedal is pressed hard. So i'm thinking crank or bearings? so question is does anyone know if its a sealed unit or not?

got to a bike shop and have them look at it, its nearly impossible to fix a click in a bike without seeing/riding it
i had to send my fork off and get new uppers (warranty) to fix my clicking
