A week ago I dislocated my foot when I slipped a pedal riding at Snowshoe. I didn't crash and this was my only injury. Didn't even realize I did it until I tried to put my foot back on the pedal. Has anyone else had a similar injury while biking? How long was your recovery, and do you have any lingering issues?

My ortho, who fixed my broken fibula 2 years ago, is saying it could be up to a year for full recovery.

I broke a couple bones in my foot a few months ago. Took me about 4 months until I was back on the bike. Not a painful recovery, just a long one.
