Got a 2017 Reign 1 on the way to my LBS currently and I wanted to start this thread for proud new reign owners to share and post about their bikes!

Got my 2017 Reign 1 on order, lbs told me to expect it in store this coming week, really stoked. Also ordered a set of Crank Brothers Mallet DH black pedals, stoked about them too. Starting to save now for full renthal cockpit, Fatbar carbon etc. Can't wait to get the Reign out in the wild.

Ordered the aluxx, I like the lyric fork and m+ rc3 debonair shock. The Reign will be a stable mate for my 2014 Anthem Advaned 1. I have seen a photo on the net showing an actual 2017 Reign advanced 0 showing the correct m+ rc3 shock, not like the one on the Giant web site.

Ah that's interesting yeah I'd been looking for a photo because the shock and also the rotor appeared wrong

Vitalmtb.com has pics of the 2017 Reign Advanced 0, 1 and the SX. Found under 2017 Giant Reign Builds.

Yeah beats me why there seems to be pics of all but the aluxx 1

I think USA only get Advanced 0, Advanced 1, SX and aluxx 2. Here in Australia we get the aluxx 1 instead of the SX.

Ah yes that makes sense. Could've sworn I saw the edge of the aluxx 1 in one of those vital pics. Meanwhile still waiting on it to arrive at the LBS. been six weeks now

2017 Giant Reign Advanced 1

Here's my 2017 advanced 1. I changed the stock bar to a Chromag OSX and I am waiting on Chromag pedals. No trail riding yet due to snow and cold. So stoked right now!

Any feedback to far on the X2? Its still bloody winter here and I have not been able to ride. I would like to hear how people are getting along with their new whips!

Finally some pics of my 2017 Reign 1. The first pic is at Thredbo MTB Park NSW Australia. Great technical gravity trails with chairlift. Second pic is with WTB Volt Pro saddle (Giant saddle is torture on long pedally rides). Also Renthal Fatbar Carbon 780mm bars with Renthal 50mm Apex stem and Renthal lockon medium grips. Finally Crank Bros Mallet DH pedals. Bell also make a matching helmet the Super 3R (pictured).
Really stoked with this bike. I have ridden over 400km of various single trail in Vic and NSW including Lysterfield, Stromlo Majura Pines and Thredbo. The bike is a blast to ride, playful, responsive and very stable. It eats anything you throw it at.
