Agreed, the burly look somehow reminds me of the HS33.

if I ever break my fbm steadfast im going a custom s&m speedwagon with HS33s. doing from my deores a standard u brake just doesnt feel near as good.

I'd love to rock some on a street bike or xc again personally. On my xc bike I could stop on a gnats knob with maguras on ground rims....

They look much like the Echo levers I run on my trials bike.

For running HS33 brakes, all you need is a FireEye ShortFuse 360 frame.
I have such with a modified version of Hydrostoppers (first version of the Magura hydraulic rim brakes) for my main ride.
