Specialized rear shocks for 2016 Camber

Hi,

Im an owner of a 2016 Specialized Camber Comp and would wanna upgrade my rear shock to the kashima version. Having been new to mountain biking, i didnt know that these shocks are proprietary to Specialized and no aftermarkets are available.

Any insights on this?

what type of insight are you looking for exactly? you can maybe contact Fox and ask if maybe they could Kashima coat your current shock if you sent it in? I wouldn't see the purpose in going thru all of that just to have a bronze colored shock, but if you are building a dope looking project and want your shock color to match your forks.. I'd think your only option would be calling them to ask.
