Fork question time.

In the 2016 fox 34 float fork is there a way to achieve the same amount of travel and stanchion length.

The reason i ask as on the 2015 34 i have the same amount of travel and stanchion length but with a 2016 34 i have a 8mm longer stanchion length than travel.

Ive always ran my bars flat and no spacers under a 0 degree stem with as little travel as i can get away with and any extra height is very unwanted.

Any help would be great.
