Interested in building a dirt jump and street wheelset, and I am stuck the rims.
I am looking for a rim in the 30-33 mm range, that is strong enough to take cases, learning spin tricks, and sloppy landings, and wide enough to not lead to many flats while giving a 2.2 inch tire enough tread patch.
Which would be preferable?
DT Swiss EX 471 - A 30mm wide, deeper rim with eyelets right in the middle of the rim
Stans Flow MK3 - A 32 mm wide, more shallow rim, with offset eyelets
