Hello!

I dont know if this is the right place to post it, but i have a question about PAYPAL.

I'm from Estonia ( currency Euro ) and looking to buy bike from pinkbike, problem is bike is located in UK.

I don't want to just send money to seller and hope for bike to arrive, so only way to make sure that i don't get scammed is to use paypal?

But if i'm right paypal first wants currency fees from euro to pounds, and that's 120 euros from 3000 pounds, and if i'm not mistaken, there's transaction fee, that is 3,4% , which is another 124 euros, and that's total of whooping 244 euros for just sending money, that's ridiculous.

Is everything correct or am i missing something ?

You need to phone PayPal and check, or at least email them to check what you would be covered for
Last time I looked they protected up to a certain amount - about £400 for paypal payments, so you could have problems if its' a lot more.

Also, international policy may not be the same for Paypal users in Estonia, so make sure any protection applies internationally.
