Painting Rims

Hey guys I found a really nice wheelset for real cheap but it isn't the color I want it. The rims are laced to the hubs and I was wondering how difficult it would be to paint the rim. Would I use spray paint? I have never done anything like this so any help would be much appreciated! Cheers!

Also I was interested in painting the hubs black as well, does anyone know if this is dangerous to the hubs or how to go about this.

Most hubs and rims are anodized, paint doesn't stick to it..

Maybe try plastidip
