I debated it for a while as well, I asked the Fox rep in Canada and they were to expensive and I had to ship it. But my LBS were willing to take care of it in house and to the fork service at the same time. When it was all said and done it was about $400 to get the FIT with Trail Adjust. After riding it in BC I can honestly say it was money well spent as it is so much better. Its allot more responsive, it does not blow through the travel so fast and its allot smoother. I would recommend getting the damper replaced it has changed my bike around so much like night and day. I also had the 2013 damper in mine so going to the 2014 was much better. Even the guy who did the service was suprised at who Sh*t the OB damper was.
hey guys/gals, i've recently picked up a 2008 specialized enduro. im sort of questions the suspension (forks mostly, but also the rear) assuming, being a 2008 it's gotten some abuse or maybe not fully there.
soooooo im considering new forks and rear shock. any photos / info/timeps you guys can give me as to what i should consider ?
i went to this bike shop and they suggested a Fox Float 36 160mm (approx 1500) and in the rear a Float XCTd ( approx 880 )
now the guy was suggesting going away from the dual crown, but i love the look of the dual. so I'm not sure. but it will be less weight i suppose. i typically will be going on trail rides but i def want good fork for when I'm going on the DH portions.
