This is from my local FB page, concerning Scratchmere:

"Right lads. Bad news.

Brooks and i have just been chatting to the farmer.
Basicaly, Marshals plc. The owners of scratchmere scar have sent their new land agent around to assess their sites. After reviewing scratchmere they have found that the site is being used for mountain biking and have decided to put a stop to it. The farmer is awaiting a letter from the agent formaly informing him that we are not allowed to use the site in any way.
So until the situation has been resolved between Marshals plc, the farmer and myself please do not use the area for sports.
If you could pass this around to all your biking buddies and let them know, it would be great. We just need to keep it clear for a little while so the whole dispute will blow over.
Thanks!"
