i already tried like 5 different bike shops and they said that its really hard to find a chaing guide for my bike because the way the frame bends :S but ill try and find the chain guide you suggested... e13 32 special you say?
You need to find a new shop. Pretty much any chainguide will fit that frame. At different times I've had an STP (formerly the 32 Special), an STS (36t max), a DRS, and 2 MRPs.
Yes. It's the same. In fact that's a better option really. It's a lot easier to make a straight bar strong than a riser bar. The fashion police long ago decided that riser bars look better.
agem!
what about when your chin comes down to smack the stem. it'll happen later with a short stem+ riser bar
My son managed to get his visor stuck on his handle bar/triple crown bars somehow today as we were riding down a trail. I didn't see how he got it stuck, I just saw him sailing down the trail looking like he was sort of tucking in a head down position until he went soaring off into the bush and over the handle bars. I'm thinking, "What on earth is my idiot child thinking!?" Maybe different bars would make a difference for my bozo boy.
He tells me he looked down to see his pedals and hit a bump and then he was history. Cracked his visor, but no other damage.
