Logging road style? Lol. I recall a long time ago my buddy and I drove up from Oregon after work. Made it to the seas to sky about 2am and back then it was the dark two lane death road.

Anyways, I could not drive any farther and we pulled off an decide to sleep next to the car on a logging road figuring... Hell this is fine, we will get a nice quite nights sleep. Well about 5am we were awaken by log trucks absolutely barreling down hill and flying about 5 feet from us with their air brakes on. BbbbRaaaaaappppp. Scared the shit out of us but I'm sure the truckers were having fun. Our conclusion...guess Canada has rednecks as well.

Super duper stoked stoked for this weekend. Actually had a dream about the new crab apple hits. Smile

If there is anyone who needs a lift back to the island Thursday send me a pm.

That whole section was not too hot the day it was built. Few people broke collar bones on the extender. And the second berm after that got trashed. It's smooth as butta now I see.

For anyone here that rides continental tires when I am here in mid July should I run 2 der barons, 2 der kaisers or der baron front and der kaiser rear?

Posted: Jun 13, 2012 at 22:06 Quote
i ride a kaiser on front great grip, then a maxxis minion on the back, good braking traction and still fast rolling, but if u only want continental id just do kaisers front and back but if it gets real wet, run a baron on front.

Have you had any experience with these tires? I have always just ran der baron front and back, but i am finding out it's not too good in the dust by how many times I slip out. Do you think one new set will last me a week?

a new set will forsure last a week, ive been riding the same kaiser for over 2 seasons and its still great. kaisers are defianitly better cornering and dry/dusty conditions, as barons are mud tyres. i dfianitly prefure kaisers, for all condition, except thick mud. if its just a bit of rain the kaiser's will still work fine. message me when u r up here, we should go for a rip!
