its really no more expensive than anything in the uk. Fork service done today, in less than half a day (fork dropped off at like 11.30 and done by 4.00) at fanatyko and they charge $60 +parts. cheaper than a lot of places in the UK. brake bleed? $20.

have decided that fanatkyo now beats summit in service

Hi Guys/Girls,

I'm coming to Whistler in Sept for the first time from Aus.
I'm bringing my A-line and my Wife will be on her Norco Range.

Hopefully I can chase (probably watch you disapear) some of you down the hill.

Servicing costs and full bikes/forks etc are cheaper here but any parts you need will be way more expensive than the UK.
eg Maxxis Minion DHF is about £65 out here! ($110)
A friend broke his rear mech, a new X9 cost him 170 Canadian Dollars!!

The fix beats both of them hands down. If you ever need major work done, always go to the fix unless you have your own mechanic. So many leagues ahead of the rest in Whistler.

I saw the DHFs in summit for $99, which is pretty much spot on for what youd pay in the uk (super tacky, 2.5")
Saint short cage 9spd rear mech was $160 at bikeco (in pemby but im pretty sure they share prices), which again isn't any more than i'd expect. $100 retail for an SLX rear mech which i ended up getting, which if anything is a little cheaper than id expect to pay in the uk (£65ish?)

+1 for fanatkyo great service and they go beyond what I would expect for customer service.

Cove had dhf 3c's on for 65$ a few weeks ago, not sure if that is still the case.

ive been running Minnion SRY fronts, on the front and back, for 3 weeks now and theyre still sweet. Just dont go locking up the brakes all the time and you'll be sweet.
