anyone with a functioning brain would choose a circus over an argyle.

And then a few months later the catastrophic failure and resultant brain injuries would even the score.

The biggest problem with most dj forks imo is people not maintaining them then wondering why they feel like crap there all the same stuff inside just different packages

for the most part yes.

as a whole there isnt a whole lot of tech in Dirt Jump Specific forks. Mainly because they dont need it.

every argyle ive ridden felt terrible. the circus however feels a lot better and in my opinion, is already more proven than the argyle. every argyle ive seen ridden by locals has either exploded, blown a rebound cartridge or bent.

I've heard of so many bent Rs and RCs. No bent RCTs though

Anybody can hate on the circus until they actually try some with a subjective view on them.
Seriously the best fork I've personally ridden'. I have to agree with the ugly look and the low price that makes it look f*cking cheap, but the fork is sooooooo stiff, when you have the lockout on, you can barely tell you have a suspension fork on your bike, unless you're blind then you seriously won't be able to make the difference.

So if you are blind, you can tell the difference?

It sounds like it feels awesome but I have just heard of way too many snapping.

I've just seen one snapped one and the guy said it was just a faulty one and they sent him a tapered one in return...

i always think there are a reason one thing is cheaper than another. you simply get what you pay for. buy a circus and you will get an ugly and heavy fork that still is ought to perform okay. buy a fox 831 and you will get a light, good looking fork that will perform extremely well.

thank you for listening, you have been a great audience.

Circus forks aren't that heavy? They are like 2kg, That's not that heavy, anything over 2.3kg i'd say is heavy
Edit: Also +1 to the post above.

I myself think everything over 1.9kgs is quite heavy.

Capital-of-ns: you know thats not really unusuall right? You can do that on lighter forks than the circus.
The RCT's are roughly 140g lighter than the circus', and the Fox's are flexy as f*ck. Personally, I would be able to put up with the uglier looks and low price tag for a fork that performs equally, if not better, than it's more expensive competitors. I have a friend that is even trading his RCT's for Circus' plus cash.
