I always dreamed of owning a Metalhead back in the day. For anyone that doesn't know it was the first DJ/Street mountain bike. I was just curious if anyone here has owned one or knows someone who has. I want to see pictures. Bonus point if it's a brown Metalhead with Profile cranks and Imperial chainwheel, a Z1, HS33s and Easton Flatboys or Cullys.
I saw that mtbr thread a while ago but thanks for bringing it back to my attention. The Darkside and Project X were the hotness too. Post those too if you've got em'.
I have nothing to contribute this thread, nor will I pretend to have something to contribute. I will, however, subscribe and take a back seat, because I'm home sick today
I'm getting a Spooky Metalhead in a few weeks when I get the money.
It looks like an amzing bike. But I can't find alot on it. And I really can't find any anywhere in the UK, Or America for sale. So I am just wondering how good it actually is?
It is all upgraded. I only got a quick look at it though. So I will probably post some Pics and some details when I actually get it. I have seen a few reviews. And they all seem amazing. But nothing solid. So is there anyone who can tell me what this Bike is REALLY like.
i'll drop all the knowledge i've got on it. it's surprisingly light for being steel. it really has the feeling of wanting to be thrown around and to be bunnyhopped, it's like when you pull up on the bars the frame almost automatically follows with height. it's really quick and whippy. in the air it feels really stable and under you. it's such a perfect jumper. they're pretty hard to find but the company's back up n' runnin again so if you get in contact with them they'll put you through the paces to getting one of the best hardtails available.
