stoked?

That actually looks friction' amazing! I was starting to worry that the city just dropped the project, pumped to ride this place!

THIS IS SO WEIRD! Years ago back in grade school (7/Cool our teacher had "connections" with a parks rep. One of out class projects was to all agree on something to build in that EXACT same spot. In then end we wrote reports for a Skate/Bike park, built a model a sent it in. Pretty neat that above everyone else fighting for that spot my class and i might have has an influence... Im stoked to see it come together.

Does anyone know any stores that sell good DH helmets with a good selection? Preferably one that sells sixsixone and TLD.

Thanks

The Bike Zone out in Mississauga has a good selection of everything. I'm sure they sell 661, POC and most likely they sell TLD. 2 cents

Ohh we carry all that good shit.

We just got a few 661 lids in stock, and we have a few TLD full face in.

Cycle Solutions.

PS: If you are looking at TLD helmets, don't even bother looking at 661 or anything else. I just recently got a TLD and it crushes every helmet I have ever owned (15+ years worth of MX, snowmobile, and DH helmets).

Heads up for people thinking of riding Cummer Skatepark.

Lots of sketchy figures have been coming to the park these days. Today, I (no one helped...) heroically stopped two kids with lead pipes trying to steal some Canadian Tire bikes from two scrawny Asian kids. This is two incidents in 6 months, but according to my buddy, he tells me that in his 5+ years of riding, this kind of thing has not happened.

The two kids are about 18 years old and dress in extra extra large clothes. Beware as they just sit around the park staring at bikers.

EDIT: One of the two thieves was brave enough to carry and wield a lead pipe trying to hit the bike's owner who was holding onto his bike and me who was trying to scare him away.

So glad we don't have people like this around where I live. Sure, there may be a few shady people hanging about, but they don't go as far as trying to actually steal the bikes directly from the owner as they ride it Smile

Ghetto. Glad you are ok Jason and good on you for helping out, despite the fact that NO crappy tire bike is worth a lead pipe to the dome.

Well, except maybe this one.....
I would take so many lead pipes to the head for one of these.
