been a while since i've posted any of my frames here but im particualrly proud of this one so thought i'd get her up. smashed it out over the weekend and today, thought it turned out sweet. 160ish mm travel trail bike for a bloke in germany, 27.5", 66 degree HA, 10mm BB drop, 74 degree SA, 430mm chainstays, 470mm reach, 630 stack. the geo of this one is quite restrained, i was impressed with his mature numbers.

makes a nice change from "i want a 59 degree head angle and 500mm reach and a 50mm BB drop!!"

Cheers lads. Dunno if I'd describe myself as a 'full on company'... my full time job is trail building, I just make frames on the weekends and when I have no pump tracks or trails to build.
I have all my pivot hardware machined for me, and I get the m12 titanium axle bolts you can see made for me in China. The pivot runs on standard 6905 bearings, I have top hats in there to reduce the bore to 18mm for the axle.

Your life sucks. We should trade positions. You can raise a 7 year old and a 7 month old in cold South Dakota and I'll move down your way. Called it! No backsies!!

Nice stuff, Is the aluminum on the inside a heat sink?

It is just part of a jig I built for locating the dropouts and the bottom bracket.

It does act as a heat sink though which can make it tricky to get the bb hot enough without burning a hole in the stays.
