I'm considering switching to 24" wheels this winter as I plan on replacing the wheels anyways. Just wondering if it'll ruin the geometry or feel of the bike. I've heard people say the pedals will hit the ground but that's ridiculous, there's more than enough room. The bike is an 08 district 1.

i put dual 24" doublewides on my norco, and it feels so much better. makes it feel more stable and makes it a little more beef.
some people say 24" slows you down, but i havent noticed a difference, looks better imo too

i think I will stick with 26". I searched what tires are available for 24 and there's next to nothing for selection.

I have seen DH bikes with 24" rear and 26" front. Is this just for more travel of the rear suspension? I've tagged my bag a few times with the rear wheel. would this help with that
