the ability to permanently delete photos, I'm tired of getting offers on parts I sold over a year ago. is there a reason this hasn't already been done?
I suggested this, but then I thought about scammers...they could delete their photos and get away with their crimes, so (in my opinion) it's best if pictures stay...
I think that's more annoying than it is useful, and radek/mods could still get backups of the photos if they were reported.
also though, think about in forums instead of pictures there'll just be lots of blank spaces...
And the mobile site desperately needs an edit button in forums..
People don't read Comments or descriptions, you should know this Kin.

It's easier to find a photo too if it hasn't been deleted. Same with bike thieves, they could remove evidence after shifting their stuff, so it's easier for the mods to find the pictures, even in users trash folders as mods can look in them. If you could delete photos with no way to recover them, scammers and thieves would get away with stuff/mods wouldn't be able to find evidence or w/e to ban them.

The main reason is that we need to first keep a link list of all places those photos they are used. So when you decided to delete a photo it tells you, hey this photo is used in 2 buysell items and 3 articles, and 3 forums. At that point you can delete it as well as places it's used. It really sucks to have articles with broken images in them. So we have to create a new system to take this into account first.
you could have it so the picture still shows up, but when they click it to find the source, it will say that the uploader has deleted the photo. that way they can't message me or they could still see the picture in full size, it would just not have the uploader info on the right hand side
I think it would be cool to have a 'Favorite Threads' or 'Bookmarked Threads' list underneath the 'Friends Online' list on the dash. Just as a quick and easy way to get to threads that aren't super active.
For instance, this thread hasn't had any activity in a while, and it was no longer in my recent activity box on my profile and there where no recent posts on my dash, so to find it, I either had to wade through my massive forum subscription list, or search for it.
I find this happens a lot. I don't know if anyone else agrees, but I thought I'd make a suggestion.
Would help if we could clean up our forum subscriptions from the forum subscription page. Theres a bunch of locked threads in mine that I cant go into to unsubscribe. Plus doing them one by one would take forever.
